Students of Suncity World School, Gurgaon and Institute of Apparel management (IAM) paid a tribute to the victims of Paris attack. The terrorist attack had resulted in death of more than 130 innocents. The incident was condemned world-wide.

Students of Suncity World School, Gurgaon and Institute of Apparel management (IAM) paid a tribute to the victims of Paris attack. The terrorist attack had resulted in death of more than 130 innocents. The incident was condemned world-wide.


Students of Suncity World School, Gurgaon paid a musical tribute in their own unique way. Students performed an ariel act on the famous Michael Jackson song ‘We are the world, we are the children’. The ariel act was combined with skating and contemporary dance performance by the children.
The little kids wore white shirts with the flag of different countries on their front. Through their performance they gave away the message of love and peace. The children had banners saying ‘The world is burning’ ‘Paris is burning’ and LOVE, COMPASSION, PEACE and TOLERANCE is the need of the hour. The world is one and we are all part of it, let us stand together with France.

Recently Suncity School had a student exchange program where 24 students and 2 teachers from Lycee l’ Oiselet, School, France had come to India as a part of this 12 day student exchange program, which was organized by Suncity School. These students and teachers resided with the Indian students during their stay in India.

“During Cultural exchange program, children from France came to our school and became friends with some of our students. After hearing about the attack our students are worried about their friends in France. They wrote e-mails to them. They even prayed for their well being. ” Rupa Chakravarty, Principal, Suncity School, Gurgaon.

Sector 44 situated students of IAM organized a condolence meet at their campus. They paid tribute to the Paris victims by lighting candle and they observed two-minute silence. They also organised a musical programme in which they played song.

Somesh Singh, Director, IAM said, “A terrorist attack is the most cowardly act possible, my heart goes out for the victims and families of the attack. India has been a victim of terrorist attacks in the past so we share their pain.”
