Former India cricketer and suspended BJP MP Kirti Azad has decided to file a writ petition in the Delhi High Court, demanding the appointment of an independent administrator and a time-bound SIT probe against the alleged financial impropriety in Delhi and District Cricket Association (DDCA).

Azad said his petition will also be against the Central and state government, CBI and the BCCI besides all current and former officials of the DDCA including finance minister Arun Jaitley, who headed the body for a long time.

"Once Justice Mukul Mudgal's second report on DDCA is submitted, we will attach it with our writ petition demanding appointment of an administrator. We would also demand a time bound SIT probe on mismanagement that has been going on in the state association," Azad told reporters here.

"We have filed a petition against Centre as Ministry of Corporate Affairs and Urban development comes under their wing. Against the state government, my complaint is the Entertainment Tax Department not asking them questions. I also hope CBI starts inquiry and not be a 'Caged Parrot' as Supreme Court has termed it," he added.

Asked if the petition would also include Jaitley's name, Azad said, "All former and current office bearers would be included."

Azad thanked Justice Mukul Mudgal for trying to conduct last year's India-South Africa Test in a smooth manner.

"For the first time since 1982, DDCA made profit from a Test match. Last time in 1982, the Test match against England saw DDCA making profit as BCCI organised the match with state association officials being behind bars after a CBI enquiry," Azad said.

"They (DDCA officials) are so shameless that they even tried to hoodwink Justice Mudgal by submission of fake bills," said Azad.
