Anyone who opposes BJP-RSS ideology is a traitor: Rahul Gandhi

Guwahati : Congress vice president Rahul Gandhi on Monday said that the BJP and RSS can dub as a traitor anyone who speaks and against their ideology.

Addressing a party workers meeting held at Titabor in upper Assam Jorhat district and sounded poll bungle of assembly poll in the state hardly left for two months, Rahul said that, the BJP and RSS has now identified who is a patriot and who is a traitor.

“Now BJP and RSS have the licensed to say who is a patriot and who is a traitor. The recent incidents in the country had proved it. But we will fight for our democratic right,” Rahul Gandhi said.

“Rohith Vemula, a Dalit student who committed suicide in Hyderabad. He did nothing wrong. But the ministers of the central government had ordered to the university administration to declare him as a traitor,” the Congress vice president said.

Earlier Rahul attacked the PM Modi in another rally held at Gohpur under Sonitpur district and said that, Modi only cares some special businessman.

“Modi said his heart goes to the poor people. But it nothing seems. Modi only cares some special businessman, he nothing cared any poor people of the country,” Rahul said.

The Congress vice president arrived at Jorhat on Monday morning during his two-day visit to the poll bound state.

Rahul will take part in a road show in Sivsagar tomorrow and to discuss tea community and party leaders.
