Brother inspired by Swachh Bharat, constructs toilet for sister on Raksha Bandhan
On the eve of Raksha Bandhan, some brothers in Ajmer and Udaipur have set an example for others by gifting something unique for their sisters. They got a toilet constructed and gifted it to their sisters. Inspired by them, few others have also pledged to do the same.

Prem Chand Sharma, who works in a private firm, gifted one of his married sisters, a toilet in the house in Rohini village of Nagaur. Now, he plans to construct toilets for the remaining six sisters in the coming year.
Taking inspiration from the Swachh Bharat Mission of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, he is encouraging villagers to construct toilets stating that he felt bad to watch his sisters going to fields for defecation. Arguing against open defecation, Mr Sharma said that with the help of Nagaur district collector, they have got a grant of Rs 12,000 to construct these toilets.
In Udaipur too, brothers have signed a commitment letter on the occasion of Raksha Bandhan to construct toilet in their homes by October 2 in order to free their sisters from the miseries of open defecation.
