Samay Foundation’s initiative ‘Suknya Samridhi Yojna’ to promote Beti Bachao-Beti Padhao’

Some social representatives including Sunil Chaudhary, BJP leader Delhi convenor of the programme, Samay Foundation president Santosh Kumar Dubey, Vinayak, Director of ‘Nation first’ programme, Santosh Kumar Singh, treasurer of Samay Foundation, Hari Arora, Phool Singh Samay Foundation General secretary MP representative of Maheish Girri, Vipin Bihari Singh, and other social representatives were present.
Speaking on the occasion Sunil Chaudhary BJP convenor said, the Prime Minister ‘Beti Bachao-Beti Padhao’ initiative should be spread to promote girl child education across the society and country. He further said, Suknaya Samriddhi account will help to give advantage to a girl child for her education and marriage.
He said, aSukanya Samriddhi account can be opened any time after the birth of a girl till she turns 10, with a minimum deposit of Rs 1,000. The account can be opened in any post office or authorised branches of commercial banks. The account will remain operative for 21 years from the date of its opening or till the marriage of the girl after she turns 18. To meet the requirement of her higher education expenses, partial withdrawal of 50 per cent of the balance is allowed after she turns 18,” he added.
Hari Arora, MP representative of Mahiesh Girri said, we appreciate the initiative taken by our Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Beti Bacaho- Beti Padhao and Sukanya Samriddhi Yojna. We appreciate the Samay Foundation initiative to promote the “nation first” programme to promote girl child. The foundation has taken great steps to open some account under the Saukanya Samridhhi Yojna.
Ajay Arora, Sub-divisional magistrate east Delhi said, the account can be opened with an initial deposit of Rs 1,000 and thereafter, any amount in multiple of Rs 100 can be deposited, subject to the condition that a minimum of Rs 1,000 will be deposited. This is a great initiative taken by the central government to push the girl child and its future is appreciable. He further said, we should appreciate the steps taken by the Samay Foundation to uplift the girl child. Its ‘Nation first’ programme is really appreciable. We should congratulate Samay Foundation team for taken such initiative to promote the girl child.
Santosh Kumar Dubey president of Samay Foundation said, our initiative is to promote the girl child programme through the Suknaya Samriddhi Yojna. We took the social welfare cause through the society and put into the needful girls and needy to promote them. We Samay Foundation commit ourselves to identify and work for overall welfare for the society. We believe that this can be possible only through the development of innovative social mechanics that inspire the common people to engage actively in creating social policy and at the same time encourage administrations to develop “Policy and Governance Assurance”.SK Azad LDM of east Delhiwas also present on the occasion. State Bank of India and Punjab National Bank have taken part in this initiative to promote Suknya Samriddhi Yojna.
The Samay Foundation has open around 50 accounts for the girl child under the Nation first scheme. The Samay Foundation has also made payment to the girl under the scheme.
