NEW DELHI: The Delhi Police Special Cell on Monday, held two persons in connection with the attack on Umar Khalid, a JNU Student. Mr. Khalid escaped unhurt after being attacked outside the Constitution Club of India last Monday. He was there to attend an event.
The two suspects, native of Haryana, are being interrogated on whether they carried out the attack and the motive behind it.
A senior officer at Special Cell confirmed this development.
