Adilabad: An awareness programme on cashless transactions was conducted in Mukra village of Ichoda mandal on Friday by the Common Services Centre (CSC), Telangana.

Shiva, the CSC coordinator, said that swiping machines and e-vallets would be made available to traders in villages. He gave a power-point presentation about feature of cashless transactions.

Later, speaking to the media, Shiva said that the organisation’s aim was to make Mukra the second village in the State after the cashless payment facility has been introduced in Siddipet district.

Addressing the participants, Boath MLA Babu Rao Rathod hailed the CSC efforts to usher in cashless transactions in the villages. He said that the people of the district could tide over the cash crunch crisis by going in for cashless or digital
transactions.
