Harish Rao assures safety to `settlers’

Nizamabad: TRS MLA T Harish Rao has assured safety to the `settlers’ in Telangana region after the separate state formation. The Siddipet MLA participated in the swearing-in-ceremony programme of sarpanch Nelineni Lakshmi at Old Varni panchayat in the district on Thursday. He appreciated the broadmindedness of the villagers who have elected a `settler’ as panchayat president.

The election indicates that there was no need for concern about the safety of people belonging to other regions in Telangana region. ``Leaders like MP Kavuri Sambasiva Rao should make note of such incidents,’’ he pointed out.
