The Lammily Doll or the 'normal Barbie' costs $25 and comes with reusable stickers. There are Lammily marks, or stickers, for acne, cellulite, stretch marks, freckles, glasses, tattoos, scratches, dirt stains and even mosquito bites!
Artist and researcher Nikolay Lamm designed the doll to appeal to parents and children alike. Young girls are increasingly becoming conscious about their bodies and aiming for unrealistic standards. The Lammily doll has typical body proportions and is unapologetic about her human side.
The idea of this doll came from a crowfunding campaign that was started by Lamm with an image of what dolls should look like against the ideal Barbie doll.
