Kerala emerge overall champs. Kerala emerged overall champions in the 13th Federation Cup National Junior Athletic championship that concluded at the GMC Balayogi Athletics Stadium in Gachibowli here on Sunday.

Kerala secured 189 points while Haryana with 161 points finished second place. Ajay Kumar of Haryana and Stuti Singh of Uttar Pradesh were declared as best men and women athletes.

Meanwhile, Tamil Nadu’s S Siva created a new record in pole vault with a jump of 4.80 meters while Abdulla Abooba of Kerala did likewise in triple jump.
