DSA-THA bid to boost hockey
The District Sports Authority, Hyderabad and Telangana Hockey Association will jointly conduct a “Sports Authority of Telangana State (SATS) Super Cup Prize-Money Hockey Tournament 2016” at Gymkhana Grounds from January 2.
Hyderabad: The District Sports Authority, Hyderabad and Telangana Hockey Association will jointly conduct a “Sports Authority of Telangana State (SATS) Super Cup Prize-Money Hockey Tournament 2016” at Gymkhana Grounds from January 2. According to A Aleem Khan, DSDO of the Authority, here on Monday, it is being held to develop and popularise the sport.
This was more so as no hockey has been conducted since the formation of Telangana State. Interested teams can field their entries by Wednesday. Further details can be had from B Kameswara Rao, hockey coach at the Gymkhana Ground or on Tel No: 98497-18040.
