Newly-appointed Pakistan head coach Mickey Arthur has said that he has got a `real plan` to lift the national side in rankings and turn the things around for them in the coming future.
While addressing the media for the first time as Pakistan coach at Qaddafi Stadium in Lahore, Arthur observed that his side have to invest in players and need to become consistence in selection.
The 48-year-old insisted that he had no issue if his team make mistake, but added that he doesn't want his side to fear failure, the Dawn reported.
The former South Africa cricketer added that he had decided to look after the team's issues on day-to-day basis in order to improve their performance.
After weeks of rumbling, the Pakistan Cricket Board ( PCB) appointed Arthur as the successor of Waqar Younis, who stepped down from the position following a disastrous World Twenty20 campaign in India last month.
Arthur will take charge ahead of the Pakistan tour to England, where the two sides will play four Tests, five ODIs and one-off Twenty20 international match between July 14 and September 7.
