New Delhi: India went down 66-100 to defending champion China on the second day of the 24th FIBA U-18 men’s championship-2016 at Azadi Sports Complex in Tehran on Saturday.

The Indian lads put up a fight in the 3rd quarter and managed a smaller deficit, but it was not enough as the side eventually fell short, 66 to a 106.Tamil Nadu shooting guards Hariram Ragupathy and captain P Baladhaneshwar were the bright spots on Saturday. Results: China 100 (J Taruike 20, J Man 18, Z Fan 13) bt India 66 (Hariram Ragupathy 31, P Baladhaneshwar 25).
