​Vijayawada: Andhra Cricket Association (ACA) on Wednesday felicitated archer V Jyothi Surekha here on Wednesday. ACA Secretary Dr Gokaraju Ganga Raju presented a cheque for Rs one lakh to Surekha on the occasion.
Surekha recently won the gold medal in the compound mixed team event and silver in team event of the Asia Cup-2016 in Chinese Taipei. She had participated in the 20 international events and have16 international medal in her kitty.
Raju said “ACA is proud that Surekha brought laurels to India and we are happy that we are a part of her sponsorship, which is enabling her to perform at her best.” “ACA supports any player of any event who deserves real encouragement.” he added.
