It’s a dream come true for three college boys who have emerged from the ambitious inaugural Reliance Foundation Youth Sports (RFYS) campus football championship. They are at the cusp of football future as they stand close to getting to play in the upcoming Hero Indian Super League 2017-18 ad they have made the Indian Players Draft cut.

Mumbai: It’s a dream come true for three college boys who have emerged from the ambitious inaugural Reliance Foundation Youth Sports (RFYS) campus football championship. They are at the cusp of football future as they stand close to getting to play in the upcoming Hero Indian Super League 2017-18 ad they have made the Indian Players Draft cut.

Mumbai lad Umesh Perambra, Ajith Sivan and Akshay Joshy from Kerala have been included into Players Draft, which is scheduled to be held here on Sunday.

Their talents were noticed during the AIFF scouts initiative during the RFYS championship finals in January. In not time they were in the India U-23selection camp for AFC Championship Qualifiers under Stephen Constantine in Mumbai.

UmeshParembra is a defender who played for Thakur College in Mumbai. Akshay Joshy represents Sacred Heart in Kochi while Ajith Sivan is a midfielder for Nirmala College.The Player Draft will witness a total of 15 rounds.
