Both the teams scampered to the pavilion as there was thunderous activity in the skies. The play had to stop at 7.09 and resumed at about 8.00 PM. India were 197/2 after 34 Overs when the play stopped.

Earlier, India won the toss and chose to bat. Shikhar Dhawan scored a century, while Kohli made a breezy 75 before getting out. Ajinkya Rahane and Sikhar were at the crease when the play stopped.
