Bangalore: Quess East Bengal FC (QEBFC) announced that it has signed Costa Rica defender Johnny Acosta from Colombian side, Rionegro Aguilas.
The center-back recently featured at the FIFA World Cup-2018 as part of the Costa Rica squad. He has more than 70 caps for his country.
He joins a list of illustrious international players like Nicolas Anelka, Roberto Carlos and Diego Forlan, who all have featured at the World Cup and then chose to play in an Indian league in search of a new challenge to overcome.
