Japan Develops New Technology For Racing Car Engine And Healthcare. Car racing is becoming a popular sport in Asia. Recently, the third round of the Super GT race was held at the Chang International Circuit in Thailand\'s Buriram Province.

Tokyo, July 30: Car racing is becoming a popular sport in Asia. Recently, the third round of the Super GT race was held at the Chang International Circuit in Thailand's Buriram Province.

Nissan GT-R made a two-round double victory following from the previous round at Fuji.

The No. 46 S Road MOLA GT-R driven by Satoshi Motoyama and Masataka Yanagida came from a third position start to take the GT500 class win.

In the GT300 class race, the No. 3 B-MAX NDDP GT-R driven by Kazuki Hoshino and Mitsunori Takaboshi came out on top in Thailand for the second consecutive year.

Over 60,000 fans gathered at Chang International Circuit over the three days. The air temperature had risen to 37°C on the race day, while the road temperature was sweltering at 50°C.

The technical regulations have been renewed from the 2014 season of Japan's Super GT series. To comply with the new regulations, Nissan has developed the new NR20A engine for Nissan's GT-R 4-Cylinder Racer, which is already proving to be competitive by winning the last round in 2014.

Nissan designed the new NR20A engine from the scratch as a pure racing engine.

As engines conforming to the new rules are smaller displacement with 2-liter, 4-cylinder direct-injection turbocharged and maximum output levels are regulated based on fuel flow rate, instead of air intake rate.

Nissan accelerates its technology improvement on the high efficient power generation from the limited amount of fuel.

Satoshi Motoyama, a Number 46 GT-R driver, said, "I went into the race with a lot of confidence because both the tyres and machine were good. The condition was severe with the high temperature and the machine was at the overheat limit. It was very difficult to catch up, but I took chances at a stretch."

All the technology that has been developed throughout the SUPER GT has been combined with Nissan's direct injection turbo technology which has resulted in both high engine output and reliability in the intense heat in Thailand.

The next SUPER GT race will be held at Fuji Speedway on August 8 and 9.

Masataka Yanagida, another Number 46 GT-R driver, said, "for the championships, Nissan teams are ranked in top as well, please look forward to the next exciting round."

Japanese firms are also expanding their market base by introducing advanced technology and healthcare products.

At the International modern hospital show, Kyocera Maruzen System Integration introduces electronic health record system for psychiatrist.

Toshiaki Takamori of the Kyocera Maruzen System Integration Co., said, "Paper clinical records for psychiatrist is heavy and thick because patients stay at hospital for a long period. We put the thick clinical records in one system."

All information of the patient is stored and easily searchable in the system.

Users can check the personal history of the patient and can access to a wide range of documents. It may help psychiatrists to make their work easier and shorter.

Takamori further said, "We got the reputation from psychiatrists that the interface of the system is easy to use."

Fujifilm has made the system that combine an electronic health record with other types of records. This is a revolutionary system.

It can combine many different kinds of software made by different makers and show them on one screen.

Users can check the health record, X-ray picture, CG movie of diseased part and others at the same time.

Nobumichi Mori, Manager, IT Solution Business Division, FUJIFILM Medical Co., Ltd., said, "We are involved in this industry for a long time. And we often hear from the clients that IT is progressing but the usability is not so improving. That's why we made this system to solve the problem with our technology as an IT professional. I believe this system become widespread in many hospitals."

In India, the number of patients has been growing in the hospitals. Only advanced technology will help to reduce the burden and make the treatment more helpful.
