Hyderabad: 40 from Andhra Pradesh, Telangana Pass Civils, Nearly 40 aspirants from Andhra Pradesh and Telangana have passed the Civil Services Examinations (2013), the results of which were declared on Thursday.

Hyderabad: Nearly 40 aspirants from Andhra Pradesh and Telangana have passed the Civil Services Examinations (2013), the results of which were declared on Thursday. A total of 1122 candidates have been finally picked up for appointment in various central services including IAS, IFS and IPS. The Mains Examinations were held in December last and the interviews (PT) have been conducted in April-June this year.

Kritika Jyotsna of Hyderabad is the topper from the state bagging 30th rank. Both her parents Karthikeya Mishra and Nirupama Mishra are civil servants of the Telangana and the Uttar Pradesh cadres respectively. Krishna Aditya (99), Kona Vamsi Krishna (Rank 103), Shiva Prakash Devaraju (Rank 114), Saicharan (124), Piyush Samaria (165), SIndhu Sarma (213), P Goutham (318), Parthasarathy Bhaskar (395), Keerthi Cherukuri (440), P Madhuri (817) and P Anil Kumar (885) were other rankers who got coached in Brain Tree IAS Academy in Hyderabad. Other who have qualified are: Ravali Priya G, Killi Chandra Sekhar, Akhil Mallikarjuna Sastry, K Sandhya Rani, Laxmi Priya, Tarun Reddy, Sai Krishna Totha, P Sai Krishna, Kaladi Hrushikesh Reddy, Sudha Korivi, G V Sandeep Chakravarthy Piyush Samaria is son of senior IAS officer, Hiralal Samaria. Gaurav Agarwal of Jaipur emerged all India topper in ICSE-2013 and it is the first time that a male candidate has topped the list in the past four years. An IITian from Kanpur and a PG Diploma holder from IIM, Lucknow, Gaurav has taken Economics along with Computer Scince, his subject in bachelors course as optionals. Munish Sharma and Rachit Raj from Delhi bagged second and third ranks respectively. Bharathi Dixit is the topper among female candidates. She has completed MBBS from Lady Hardinge Medical College, Delhi, but chose Civil Services as her career. As many as 10 female candidates find their way in top 25 positions.
