Hyderabad: In the first ever Telangana state government, intentionally or unintentionally, Warangal district has been getting the top most priority, appealingly. Already two crucial posts in the state cabinet were given to the representatives of this district. Thatikonda Rajaiah, the Station Ghanpur MLA, has been already appointed as one of the Deputy Chief Ministers of the state. Bhoopalapalli MLA Sirikonda Madhusudana Chary has been appointed as the first speaker of Telangana state assembly. The TRS Party has identified him as the most suitable candidate for the Speaker’s Portfolio as he turns to be free from all sorts of negative shades against him.

If the buzz is to be believed, Warangal is most likely to get one more portfolio, in the expansion of cabinet to be undertaken by KCR, shortly. If the BC community is to be considered for the representation, it is most likely that Dasyam Vijaya Bhaskar would get the ministry; and the priority if solicited for woman candidate, it is most likely that Konda Surekha would get the post as she qualifies both as a woman and as a BC MLA. With the allocation of Deputy Speaker post to Padma Devender Reddy, now the line for Konda Surekha has been cleared almost by 50% and she is left with the only competitor Rekha Naik. However, Rekha Naik also competes with Chandu Lal in the ST Community category.

Whatsoever the case, Warangal is most likely getting one more ministry. By this, Warangal attains prominence in the first ever Telangana state government.
