Hyderabad: Paramilitary forces headed by additional CP (Law & Order) Anjani Kumar and DCP (south) S Tripathi conducted a peace flag-march in Old City on Saturday.
Hundreds of police and paramilitary personnel were deployed in Old City in order to maintain law and order on the eve of Bonalu processions and Ramzan.
The South Zone police conducted meetings with peace committees to ensure harmony in the busy market places. In the sensitive areas, identified by the police, surveillance has been strengthened.
