Telangana State’s Nativity Criteria Decided. In India, most of the states follow the criteria of seven years of continuous education in that particular state to become eligible for public employment in that state

Hyderabad: In India, most of the states follow the criteria of seven years of continuous education in that particular state to become eligible for public employment in that state; and for admission into various professional courses like medical and other professional courses, a bare minimum four years of continuous study is mandatory.

This was the criterion that was followed by Andhra Pradesh until the state bifurcation. Now, according to sources, Telangana has also been claiming that it will grant admissions into professional courses and recruitment in public employment based on the same criteria.

In most of the states, the continuous seven years education of a person in that particular state is considered as the mandatory requirement for deciding his nativity.

The constitutional guarantees may be valued by the Telangana state government and the same rules which have been followed by the United Andhra Pradesh till now may be followed hereafter as well.
