After completing the tour of Nizamabad district on Thursday night, the Chief Minister stayed overnight at his farm house in Jagdevpur mandal.

Earlier during the day, the Chief Minister visited Mulugu mandal and instructed Medak District in-charge Collector Sarath to allot 500 acres each to horticulture university and forest college and research institute sanctioned by the Central government in Mulugu mandal.

He said that the Mulugu mandal was ideal for setting up the two prestigious institutions. It may be noted that Mulugu mandal was situated in the limits of Gajwel constituency represented by the Chief Minister. The CM also said that food processing industries would be established in the Gajwel constituency. He instructed the Collector to identify 16,000 acres of land in the constituency for setting up various industries.

In a surprise visit to Markuk village in Mulugu mandal, Rao expressed dissatisfaction over the poor sanitary conditions there. He directed the village sarpanch and officials to take immediate steps to improve the conditions. He warned that he would again visit the village and if the condition were not improved, action would be taken against them.

Later, he interacted with the village women and enquired whether they were getting enough drinking water. After he was told that there was no water supply, the chief minister instructed the officials to provide drinking water supply to the villagers.

Earlier, the Chief Minister held a review meeting with the in-charge Collector, Gajwel Development Authority special officer Hanumanta Rao and other district officials on the development of Gajwel.

He inquired about the drinking water supply in all the villages and instructed the officials to improve drinking water supply. He instructed the officials to conduct the survey on August 19 without any flaws and any eligible person should not suffer any loss.
