Harish RaoHyderabad: Telangana Irrigation Minister T Harish Rao has accused Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu of hatching conspiracies to stall the development of Telangana State.

In an open letter written to Naidu on Sunday, Harish posed 10 questions and sought explanations from Naidu. He alleged Naidu was behind the Centre’s missive to State, seeking to usurp powers of the TRS government in the common capital. Harish said his government would explore all possibilities to oppose the “anti-people move” proposed by the NDA government. He sought to know why Naidu had exerted pressure on the Centre on the transfer of seven mandals in Khammam district to Andhra Pradesh while his ‘Telugu’ brethren in Telangana particularly tribal population was up in arms against the decision.

He was highly critical of Naidu for the sudden stoppage of 710 MW of thermal power supply to Telangana region. Naidu was also focusing all his energies to drive away investments from Telangana, he alleged.

Continuing his outburst, Harish wanted to know as to why Naidu was supporting encroachers and law violators in Hyderabad. He asked whether Naidu would be a silent spectator if anyone went against the rule book. He felt that Naidu was creating unnecessary row on National Academy of Construction (NAC) institute in Madhapur.
