Supreme Court Says No to Stay on Polavaram Case. The Supreme Court of India on Monday has taken up the case against the transfer of 7 Mandals submerging under the Polavaram project which is part of Telangana to residuary Andhra Pradesh.

New Delhi: The Supreme Court of India on Monday has taken up the case against the transfer of 7 Mandals submerging under the Polavaram project which is part of Telangana to residuary Andhra Pradesh. Rajender Reddy, the TJAC president of Telangana advocates, filed a case in the Apex Court stating that the move undertaken by the Centre was equally opposed by all the villages being affected.

The apex court that has taken up the matter has issued the notices to both Andhra Pradesh and Telangana states while saying no to the stay. The further proceedings would be undertaken by the honourbale court along with the Andhra Pradesh Reorganisation Bill once the response would be received from both the states.
