Navaratri fete at Bhadrakali temple

Warangal: Devi Sarannavaratri celebrations at the historic Bhadrakali Temple would begin on September 25 and conclude on October 4, informed temple priest Bhadrakali Seshu and Executive officer K Anjani Devi.

They said that elaborate arrangements were being made for the celebrations which would be attended by as many as 50,000 devotees per day. On normal days, more than one thousand devotees visit the temple. Temple priest Seshu said that the deity would be decorated each day in different attire during the nine-day celebrations.

During morning hours, special prayers would be conducted, while in the evening hours, there would be spiritual discourses, traditional dance performances and music recitals by eminent artistes of the country.
