Hyderabad: TRS plenary, which was scheduled for October 18 and 19, has been put off once again. It is now likely to be held by the end of this month.

According to sources, even the budget session of Assembly is unlikely to commence from October 20. The month-long session might kick-off in November first week.

The decision to postpone the plenary was taken in view of upcoming Diwali festival season, informed TRS party functionaries. There was also talk that this decision was taken due to delay in getting permission from Defence authorities for the public meeting at Parade Grounds, Secunderabad.

Initially, the plenary which was slated for October 11 and 12 was deferred by a week owing to rain prediction in Telangana districts due to Cyclone Hudhud. A delegates meeting was slated at LB Stadium on October 11 followed by a public meeting at Parade Grounds the next day.

TRS has been organising party formation day fete regularly on April 27. It was not held this year due to general elections that were held in April-May. In view of TRS forming the first government in Telangana State, president K Chandrasekhar Rao decided to hold a meeting on a big-scale and hence this plenary was planned.
