Telangana government revenue details
Highlights
Telangana government net monthly income crossed 3000 over crores. The income through the Stamps and Vehicle registrations is somewhat disappointing; on the other hand the VAT and excise taxes are reaching the expectations of the government. The net income in the past 5 months is 15641 crores. 12381 crore was netted in the first 4 months and 3260 crore only in October.

The income through the Stamps and Vehicle registrations is somewhat disappointing; on the other hand the VAT and excise taxes are reaching the expectations of the government. The net income in the past 5 months is 15641 crores. 12381 crore was netted in the first 4 months and 3260 crore only in October.
The revenue minister said that Telangana’s unplanned and planned expenditure accounts is expected to be netted around 20000 crore. The commercial tax department stated that around 2100-2400 were achieved through VAT. 400 crore was added to the treasury in the form of excise tax and 180 crore though vehicular registration.
