Telangana Opposition to KCR: Basic amenities not Skyscrapers for Hyderabad

Telangana people may have rejoiced when chief minister K Chandrashekar Rao annouced his ambitious plan to build Malaysian Petronas like towers and skyscrapers around Hussainsagar. Unfortunately, the opposition parties in the state are not one bit pleased.

The BJP raised the issue of open nala where a women was washed away in the drain after heavy rains lashed the city. The opposition had a field day with the issue rocking the Assembly. Hyderabad lacks basic amenities, said BJP floor leader K Laxman. He also made fun of KCR's tall dreams for the city.

Telugu Desam Qutuballapur MLA KP Vivekanand said the government must focus on providing basic amenities in the city before talking of sky scrapers.
