Sharmila, who began Paramarsha Yatra's from Kollapur, called on the bereaved family members of Lachchmma and consoled them.
On seeing Y S Jagan's sister, Lachchmma's husband Anjaneyulu broke down. She assured him that she was like his elder daughter and would stand by him at all times. He ate fruits given by Sharmila. Consoling a farmer who lost his wife due to heart attack at Govardhangiri, she said during YSR's rule, farmers became prosperous and led a happy life when YSR was Chief Minister. She assured them that her party would stand by the farmers and fight for them.
She also called on the families of two others. Later, addressing a gathering, the YSRCP leader reiterated that even five years after YSR's death, he was still being remembered by the people as his welfare schemes benefited everyone. YSR implemented schemes to benefit every section. Scores of people, women in particular, thronged to hear her at Vanaparthi and Peddagudem villages.
