Hyderabad: Former Congress MP Dr Mallu Ravi on Friday accused Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao of praising the Last Nizam Mir Osman Ali Khan only in view of next GHMC elections.
Speaking to media at Gandhi Bhavan here, Mallu Ravi said it was strange that KCR has been praising both the Nizam and the freedom fighters like Komaram Bheem, who fought against Nizam's rule. While the last Nizam made a lot of contribution for the development of the erstwhile Hyderabad State, he also had a negative side. He claimed that KCR himself spoke about the atrocities by Razakars during the Nizam’s rule. However, just in view of GHMC elections, KCR has now started praising the Nizam.
