The newly formed state of Telangana seems to be the hub of political activity. Every political party has its eyes set on strengthening its base in new state. What with political parties on membership overdrive in Telangana, looks like most residents of the state will end up becoming a member.

From Congress, TDP to BJP and TRS, every party wants a share of the T pie. Their target is to get considerable membership and ensure the party is ready to contest the 2019 polls. The TRS seems to be the only party enjoying a majority currently followed by the TDP-BJP. Sadly, Congress' dream of getting more voters for making Telangana a reality backfired.
The party badly wants to stage a comeback in the state which was its stronghold for quite some time. YS Jagan Mohan Reddy's YSR Congress party too is trying its best to welcome members with open arms. Sharmila who made quite an impression during her Maro Praja Prasthanam Padayatra is now entrusted with the responsibility of wooing members into the party.
