(SCCL), N Sridhar, urged the General Manager South Central Railways to augment supply of railway rakes from the present level of 23 rakes per day for evacuating daily production of coal to the tune of 1.80 lakh tonnes and also accumulated coal stock of 1.50 million tonnes spread over all areas of SCCL.

(SCCL), N Sridhar, urged the General Manager South Central Railways to augment supply of railway rakes from the present level of 23 rakes per day for evacuating daily production of coal to the tune of 1.80 lakh tonnes and also accumulated coal stock of 1.50 million tonnes spread over all areas of SCCL.

Further, he emphasised that increased number of railway rakes for regular movement of coal to Thermal Power Stations in this region was critical for ensuring uninterrupted production of power. Sridhar also discussed various issues relating to railway projects such as approval of Detailed Project Report (DPR) for rail connection to Singareni Thermal Power Plant at Jaipur in Adilabad District and railway line between Bethampudi and Koyagudem. He also urged the railways to expedite new railway lines between Bhadrachalam Road and Sathupalli.
