Uttam opposes shifting of chest hospital, Former minister and working president of Pradesh Congress Committee Uttam Kumar Reddy on Sunday lambasted Chief Minister KCR for ruling the state at his will.
Mahbubnagar: Former minister and working president of Pradesh Congress Committee Uttam Kumar Reddy on Sunday lambasted Chief Minister KCR for ruling the state at his will. He said that he would oppose the proposals of shifting Chest Hospital and construction of new secretariat building.
He organised a conference with key Congress leaders, people’s representatives to take their opinion in the District Congress Committee office here, in a bid to strengthen the Congress party from the grass root level.
He held a separate meeting with the district leaders and the party activists to know the scenario of the party position at all levels and collected their opinions after elaborate discussions.
Speaking on the occasion with the media, he alleged that the TRS government cheated people with impossible and false promises. The irrigation projects taken up by the government had already been brought to final phase under the scheme of Jalayagnam and the TRS was only giving final touches to the projects to get fame in their names, he opined.
