Colony residents stage protest for land titles

Nizamabad: Residents of Doddi Komaraiah Colony under the banner of the Centre of Indian Trade Unions (CITU) gatecrashed into the office of Tahsildar here on Friday demanding that the state government grant land title deeds to them. They staged a protest alleging that district officials had failed to provide basic facilities in the colony even though they were living for the past 10 years. The CITU leader M Govardhan demanded that the TRS government sanction land title deeds, supply drinking water and power to the colony residents.
