Karimnagar: Madiga Reservation Porata Samithi (MRPS) president Manda Krishna Madiga said here on Monday said though there was no permission to conduct ‘Madiga Garjana Sabha’, the Samithi would continue its protests against the visit of Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu.

Speaking to media persons, he said: “We are unable to understand why the government is not willing to give permission to us when we want to conduct a meeting in a peaceful manner. Instead, it has given permission to Chandrababu Naidu to conduct a meeting.”

“If permission is not given, then the TDP leaders and the police officials must be held responsible for the protests we are planning. The TDP leaders said they will bring electricity from Andhra Pradesh within a month by requesting Naidu and forgot the issue. They are unable to convince Naidu on categorisation of SCs for which it does not cost even one rupee,” he said.

Boini Komuraiah, Sagar, Kannam Narsaiah, Bavandla Lakshman and Boini Divakar were present at the meeting.
