SCB’s new Vice-President is Keshava Reddy

S Keshava Reddy has been named as the next vice-president of the Secunderabad Cantonment Board (SCB) by the Telangana Rashtra Samiti (TRS). The formal announcement will be made at the special board meeting held by SCB on Tuesday.

Earlier, Keshava Reddy held the position of Vice- President for four months in 2014. Keshava Reddy joined TRS in January after being a Congress-backed ward member in between 2009-2014.

The TRS high command on Monday agreed to nominate Keshava Reddy for the coveted post in the SCB. The Vice-President tenure would last for five years and the VP would be performing duties of the President in the absence of the President Cantonment Board (PCB) delegated as per the Cantonment Act.
