Demanding a honorarium of Rs.20, 000, the sarpanchs’ chalked out the plan at a felicitation event organized at the Secretariat on Friday but the move has definitely annoyed the Chief Minister who cancelled his participation in the event.
Already, several perks were given to the Sarpanchs’ by the Telangana State Government including cheque power but with the new demand, they might have pushed more than required that resulted in irking the Chief Minister.
