Woman Dies Husband Hurt In Mishap

A woman, Alivelu (36), was killed on the spot and her husband Srinivasulu suffered severe injuries when an auto-rickshaw carrying goods hit a two-wheeler on which they were travelling near Chandapur village in Achampet mandal in the district on Tuesday. Srinivas was immediately shifted to Achampet Government Hospital.

The accident occurred on Hyderabad-Srisailam highway. Relatives of the deceased said that Alivelu and Srinivasulu were the residents of Khanapur village in Dindi mandal of Nalgonda district. The accident took place while they were returning to their village after attending a marriage at Macharam village in Amrabad mandal.
