Minister for Roads and Buildings Tummala Nageswara Rao said that the government would re-design the Dummugudem tail pond link canal project for the benefit of farmers in the district. Addresing the gathering, he said, "Thanks to the vision and commitment of Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao, I am confident we will definitely see Bangaru Telangana in near future. By various development works like Mission Kakatiya and Water Grid projects, and welfare schemes like Kalyana Lakshmi and Asara, the Chief Minister will be remembered for ever by the future generations."

"KCR will surely make Telangana a model state in the entire country. The government is working with full determination in laying the roads and supplying drinking water to all villages in the State,” he said. MLA B Madan Lal, Zilla Parishad Chairperson G Kavitha, R&B superintending engineer Sathish, Integrated Child Development Services project director Sukh Jeevan Babu and others were present.
