Turn Karimnagar Into Model District. District Medical and Health Officer, Dr Mohammed Aleem asked district medical officers and senior public health officers to work hard to transform the district as ‘model district’ in providing health services in the state.
Karimnagar: District Medical and Health Officer, Dr Mohammed Aleem asked district medical officers and senior public health officers to work hard to transform the district as ‘model district’ in providing health services in the state.
Reviewing the health situation in the district with health department officials here on Thursday, Dr Aleem directed the officials to take measures to enhance institutional deliveries by computerising the details of pregnant women. He wanted the officials to prepare a plan for the implementation of “Indra Dhanassu”, a new immunisation programme being implemented in Adilabad and Mahabubnagar districts on pilot basis. Advising the officials to create awareness among the public about summer diseases, he asked them to make arrangements for supplying ORS packets to Anganwadis and ASHA workers.
