Officials told to prepare report on crops damaged by rain

Joint Collector Venkatram Reddy on Tuesday inspected the crops that were damaged in Kohir mandal in the district due to the heavy rains that lashed the mandal in the last two days. The distraught farmers told the Joint Collector that their maize crop was completely destroyed. The Joint Collector instructed the officials to prepare the estimates on the losses incurred by the farmers due to the unseasonal rains that hit the district.
