Medak: Deputy Chief Minister Kadiyam Srihari said on Wednesday that notification for filling up one lakh vacancies in various departments would be released soon. He toured Gajwel mandal and inspected various land sites meant for construction of new building complexes for setting up educational institutions.

Speaking to the media, Srihari said that the Telangana government was taking measures to develop Gajwel as educational hub with an investment of Rs 100 crore. He pointed out that the government is making efforts for implementation of Gurukul education system in the state. Srihari, who also holds education portfolio, stated that the government would spend Rs 11,000 crore this year for improving educational standards in the state.
