World Bank officials call on CM
The State government officials held an interactive meeting with World Bank officials on Wednesday. Chief Secretary Dr Rajiv Sharma presented broad outline of the government’s priorities and flagship programs that are being undertaken for achieving accelerated growth and development in the State.

Chief Secretary Dr Rajiv Sharma presented broad outline of the government’s priorities and flagship programs that are being undertaken for achieving accelerated growth and development in the State.
The Special Secretary (Finance) and Principal Secretary (Planning) explained the overall scenario of the State and the financial strengths and challenges that the new State was facing. The Principal Secretaries, Secretaries of various departments have explained about the flagship programmes taken up by their departments and perceived advantages to be derived from these projects. The World Bank officials evinced a lot of interest in the programs and assured considering partnership in some of the projects.
