GHMC chief gives tips to Collectors
The Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) Commissioner, Somesh Kumar, on Saturday played a ‘guide’ to the Telangana District Collectors during their visit to the famous Monda Market and a modernised graveyard in the city. On the instruction of the Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao, the district officials, who were in the city as part of the two-day Collectors Conference, visited the 140-year-old market.
Hyderabad: The Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) Commissioner, Somesh Kumar, on Saturday played a ‘guide’ to the Telangana District Collectors during their visit to the famous Monda Market and a modernised graveyard in the city. On the instruction of the Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao, the district officials, who were in the city as part of the two-day Collectors Conference, visited the 140-year-old market.
The civic chief explained them about the maintenance of the oldest market by adopting new technologies and keeping it clean. The officials were, however, delighted more on seeing the green park and a garden developed near graveyard. They were eager to know the maintenance of the park from the GHMC commissioner. The Chief Minister asked the officials to adopt such new techniques and plans in the functioning of the markets and maintenance of graveyards in their respective districts.
