Accompanied with Ministers A Indrakaran Reddy (Housing), Nayani Narasimha Reddy (Home), Srinivas Yadav (Commercial Taxes) and T Harish Rao (Irrigation), GHMC Commissioner Somesh Kumar and other officials, the Chief Minister inspected the on-going works at IDH Colony.


He expressed satisfaction over the quality and pace of construction. However, he asked the officials to expedite the works to ensure its completion by June 2. He said that the IDH Colony would serve a model for the entire State. As many as 396 units - with each comprising of two bedrooms, hall and kitchen - are being constructed in 32 blocks of G+2 on 580 square years at a cost of Rs 37 crore. The average cost of construction per unit is around Rs 7.9 lakh.
