The Chief Minister who held talks with the RTC unions said that with the burden amount overdue of Rs. 1,800 crore, an additional annual burden of Rs. 800 crore would be on the ailing public utility.
He affirmed that the urban transportation utilities were running in losses across the world and made a request to the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) to grant Rs. 200 crore to the transport utility.
