A petition was filed in the ACB Court on Thursday by the Anti Corruption Bureau seeking five day custody of Revanth Reddy who is in prison after being caught red-handed while offering bribe to nominated MLA Stephenson to vote in the favour of the TDP in the MLC polls.


With the decision deferred to Friday by the ACB Court, TDP MLA Revanth Reddy’s decision will clear out most of the assumptions surfacing.

ACB officials in their petition stated that there was not enough time to interrogate Revanth Reddy, Uday and Sebastian along with find the source of currency notes that were seized. Hence, ACB sought custody of all the three members for five days to interrogate them based on their phone conversations to know the Rs 5 crore source which was promised to the nominated MLA.
