No enmity between Centre, State: Kavita. There has been neutrality in relations between the NDA government and the TRS government, claimed Nizamabad MP K Kavita.

Warangal: There has been neutrality in relations between the NDA government and the TRS government, claimed Nizamabad MP K Kavita. She said there was no enmity between the Centre and state, but at the same time there was a delay in resolving the division of employees, the High Court and granting national status to Pranahit-Chevella project.

Speaking to the media in Hanamkonda on Sunday, the MP wanted Central government to act in a proactive manner in addressing the above issues. She ruled out joining the NDA government referring to the reports on her induction into the Union Cabinet. Referring to cash-for-vote scam involving the TDP legislator A Revanth Reddy, Kavita demanded that Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu be made A-1 accused.

The people and political parties in Telanagna, too, are demanding the same, she reiterated. She refuted the allegations of tapping the phones of TDP leaders and found fault with reported efforts by the AP government to book cases against the Telangana government based on false allegations of phone tapping.

“It is ridiculous that Chandrababu Naidu, who tried to lure the TRS MLAs, during MLC elections, is now trying to book case against the TRS government, the MP said. She sought to know why Naidu was keeping mum on Revanth Reddy episode. “The TDP leadership should be aware of the consequences if they fix their eyes on the TRS MLAs.

Our MLAs are upright, hence they approached the ACB when Revanth Reddy offered cash to vote in MLC elections,” Kavita explained. On not giving representation to women in the Cabinet, she said due to some reasons, they were not inducted, but the government is committed to the empowerment of women. Majority of the programmes initiated by the government were aimed at welfare of the women.
