Warangal: The TPCC leaders came down heavily on the ruling BJP and TRS governments. Kuntia was here for a day to participate in the preparatory meetings of district Congress for Warangal MP by-election and Greater Warangal Municipal Corporation election along with the party leaders N Uttam Kumar Reddy, P Balram Naik, Sarve Satyanarayana, Baswaraju Saraiah, Gandra Venkata Ramana Reddy and others.

He maintained that the aspirations with which separate Telangana was formed were not fulfilled by the TRS government, while both the Telangana and AP Chief Ministers were engaged in their selfish politics. TPCC chief Uttam Kumar Reddy stated that the TRS government which promised a lot to Muslim minorities has failed to order a probe by a neutral agency into the encounter of under-trial prisoner, Vikaruddin. Both Modi and KCR were neglecting the farming community.

The students of different universities in Telangana were being lathi-charged when they ask for jobs. Women, who represent 50 percent of the society does not have representation in the TRS cabinet, he added. Saraiah accused KCR of enforcing feudal rule and suppressing media freedom.

The TRS leaders, who were making lot of noise over notices to T-News by AP police, were silent over the unofficial ban imposed on ABN news channel. Bhatti Vikramarka addressing Congress workers at Wardhannapet stated that Chief Minister Chandrashekar Rao was facing threat to his power from his nephew T Harish Rao and hence was ‘buying’ MLAs of the opposition parties.

Stating that Deputy Chief Minister K Srihari was neither a member of Madiga nor Baindla community, former union minister Sarve Satyanarayana demanded a CBI probe to ascertain Srihari’s caste. He further stated that AP and Telangana Chief Ministers and the Governor were acting in collusion to protect their interests.

The details of the recent talks between KCR and Governor E S L Narasimhan should be made public, he demanded. Chief Minister KCR has lost confidence of his MLAs and has no moral right to continue in the post, he said while referring to the reports that AP Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu has ‘bought’ 30 TRS MLAs.
